Chuck Baine and his family have a special connection to East Tennessee. It all began soon after Baine graduated from college. Chuck’s grandfather, who opened BreadBox in Fayetteville, NC, in 1978, asked him to close some stores in Knoxville. Instead Baine fell in love and breathed new life into the local BreadBox stores. Whether the reason be love (for the romantics), Chuck’s entrepreneurial spirit, or a combination (most likely), the BreadBox legacy continues in this region today under new ownership.
