The Legacy Centre Speaker Series with Angela Cassel

"Purpose, Vision, and Goals" presented by Angela Cassel, CEO of TLC Moments, LLC

Cassel quote

Do you know if your team can withstand a make-it-or-break-it decision? Have you considered what your vision says about your leadership? What goals have you set for short-term or long-term achievement?

The answers to these questions can reveal the foundation for your leadership legacy – leadership that spreads purpose and passion throughout your entire company, embeds your culture with servant leadership, and ignites a vision into action with lasting impact.

Join us on Friday, March 11, as well-versed leadership coach and speaker Angela Cassel will help you discover the answers to these vitally important questions. She is a firm believer that leadership is the difference maker and the deal breaker. Angela would know. She has decades of experience training military and marketplace leaders at all levels, has written over 600 speeches for every level of leadership and has shared those messages as a keynote speaker at over 1,800 events worldwide. A retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant (highest enlisted rank), Angela is a Certified John Maxwell Team Member and Empowerment Mentoring Motivational Teacher, Speaker, Coach, Trainer, and Executive Mentor with her own platform, TLC Moments, LLC, focusing on teamwork, leadership and communication.

During this exciting, informative presentation, the audience will leave with the ability to:
  • Set “S.M.A.R.T.E.R” Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-bound, Evaluate, and Re-Do),
  • Gain a clear understanding of purpose-driven decisions, and
  • Learn how to bring your unique vision to fruition.

Meet Our Speaker: Angela Cassel

CasselAngela B. Cassel is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted grade with the Air Force structure, with 25 years of active duty service. She has advised multi-national commanders on all matters concerning the morale, welfare, health, effective utilization, and professional development of all personnel. Her story is a bit different than that of most of her colleagues who retire after spending more than two decades serving our country. To say Angela loved serving is an understatement, and she was fully prepared to serve her entire 30 years of tenure. However, a hip injury while serving led to one surgery and then another and with what the Air Force called “all medical procedures exhausted,” within 30 days of notification, she was medically retired. She, her husband, and two children were on their 14th move to Knoxville, Tennessee, for a fresh start.

Once a leader, always a leader... With that insight, she created a Motivational Teaching, Speaking, Consulting, Speech Writing and Analyst Business. TLC Moments, LLC, serves people and organizations nationwide in the areas of teamwork, leadership, and communication.

The military does more than prepare for deployments; it allowed Angela to teach and speak to over 40,000 military and civilian members throughout her career on Leadership Principles, Communication Techniques, and Team Building, along with various strategic, tactical, and objective platforms. Angela began writing what she entitled "TLC Moments” nearly 28 years ago. It was a daily or weekly practical and applicable wisdom on Teamwork, Leadership, and Communication issues every member of the team could relate to, and more importantly, apply to their personal and professional lives.

Her education, awards, and commendations are extensive. Among them, Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt) Angela B. Cassel was the Superintendent, Medical Logistics Flight, 88th Medical Group (MDG), 88th Medical Support Squadron, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. She led the Air Force’s third largest Medical Logistics activity and Team Wright Patterson’s largest medical flight–five elements, 150 military, civilian and contract members. CMSgt Cassel was the overseer of 49 programs, 252 medical supply accounts and expertly managed $68.6M in medical equipment, $17.1M in WRM assets, 146 contracts valued at $51.7M and the upgrade and readiness training for 35 active duty personnel. She was the AFMC Functional Manager for the 4A1X1 Career Field and acted as consultant to the Air Force Career Field Manager, Air Force Materiel Command Headquarters and 88th Fighter Wing enlisted leaders. CMSgt Cassel led 150 enlisted members on force training measures, training, development, utilization and performance. She deployed to Afghanistan in 2007-2008 as the Tactical Operations Center Battle Captain and participated in Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

Over the course of her career, Angela has been a keynote speaker for over 1,800 events worldwide. Her messages on leading and following, having a positive attitude and strength in adversity stem from her own life lessons. True leadership is the difference maker and the deal breaker. It's how we impact lives. It is action. She has written over 600 speeches for every level of leadership, from civilian forums to awards presentations.

Angela is a Certified John C. Maxwell Team Member and Empowerment Mentoring Motivational Teacher, Speaker, Coach, Trainer, and Executive Mentor. She offers workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, coaching, worldwide webinars, and excels at aiding leaders and their staff with personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John's proven leadership methods. Working together, she helps to move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals. As Angela says, “The only direction to move is toward success...” She accepts nothing less!

Angela’s goal-oriented outlook on life and her passion for adding value to others’ lives by equipping them to reach their goals led her to join the John Maxwell Team and Empowerment Mentoring. By involving herself in her natural work environment of leadership development, it made her military transition a great deal easier. But it wasn't enough! This is why she believes in the power of right choices!

In addition to everything else in her life, Angela is a wife and mother of three children. She knows full well it is not always easy juggling the list of daily responsibilities effectively. This is why she emphasizes the need for a structured and practical plan in place to avoid becoming overwhelmed and over-stressed! She has personally created her own plan and shares it with others to help them create a more balanced lifestyle.

She has studied and personally implemented the philosophies behind personal and professional development and the role emotions and vision play in leadership for the last 25 years! Now, with these priceless life lessons and years of training and preparation, she has the opportunity to give back, to add value unlike anything she has ever dreamed. She is living her passion… Leading Others to Excellence℠
