Tour: Wampler's Farm
Come and see some of what goes into making Wampler’s Farm Sausage the finest whole hog sausage in the land since 1937. On November 21, Ted Wampler, Jr., will treat us to a behind the scenes tour of the Proton Power energy facility at Wampler’s Farm. It’s the first of its kind, converting cellulose to hydrogen power and now boasts more than 2,000 solar panels.

And to think it all started in a small tin building! Things have changed over the years, but Wampler’s commitment to its customers, community, environment, and faith remains and serves as a loving reflection of its dear founder, Ted Wampler, Sr., and his cousin Harry Wampler, both of whom passed away earlier this year. This is a wonderful time to tour the farm in honor of their legacy and the future of the Wampler family brand.
We were privileged to meet Ted Wampler, Sr., and hear him "give a little talk from [his] heart" a few years ago at TLC. In celebration of Ted's life and legacy, we have opened up his talk for all to enjoy. May his words reach across the screen and touch your hearts like they did ours. Listen to Ted, Sr.

Directions: Take I-75 South to Exit 81. Turn right towards Oak Ridge. At the first traffic light (Weigels), turn left (west) on US 70. Wampler’s will be about 2 miles on the left (781 Highway 70 West, Lenoir City, TN 37771).
Follow the balloons for the entrance and path to the Energy Plant. Ted Jr. will meet everyone there.
Note: The tour is expected to last one and a half hours. You may leave early if necessary.
