Consider this your call to action.

Meet Our Speaker: Chuck Morris

Chuck MorrisSerial ADHD entrepreneur Chuck Morris has over three decades of experience in graphic design, publishing, public relations, marketing, branding and advertising.

A University of Tennessee grad, he has a BFA in Graphic Design with concentrations in English, Marketing and Television Production. In other words, he was an art major to his parents’ chagrin (because he was in pre-med before that, and he also wanted to be a news anchor, an actor, an architect, a poet and a vet).

He cut his teeth at publishing phenom Whittle Communications for a while, and he learned a great deal at the feet of Chris Whittle, who saved Esquire magazine in the eighties. In fact, Chris inspired him to be an entrepreneur.

His first baby, Morris Creative Group, LLC, is a 26-year-old marketing, branding and digital advertising firm located in the Southeastern Glass Building on Knoxville’s resurrected Jackson Avenue. Because he gets bored easily and doesn’t have much to do, he is also a founder or partner in a distillery; a brewery; an East Tennessee-themed retail store; a media and entertainment company; an IKEA® shopping, assembly, and installation service; a carbon fiber and advanced materials company; and an expedition-grade camp stove company.

Because of the recent decline in entrepreneurship in the U.S., his latest passion is The Personal Mission Project, which is a non-profit that exists to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Chuck is a Knoxville native and believes in giving back. He has been or is currently on the boards of the Metro Drug Coalition, Knoxville Family Justice Center, East Tennessee Community Design Center, Bijou Theatre, Knoxville Opera Company, Blount Mansion, American Cancer Society, Junior League of Knoxville, Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and Leadership Knoxville.

He is also a past elder and deacon of First Presbyterian Church.

Coffee, light breakfast, and TLC served.
