Meet Our Speaker: Charlie Slagle
Charlie was the owner, with his brother, of a 73-year-old Knoxville-based Industrial Distributorship, which they sold in 2023. In 2014, he left the family business to become the founding President and CEO of the US subsidiary of a $1.5 billion German tooling manufacturer that wanted to enter the US market. In 2020, after the 5-year contract with the German company concluded, he went on to be the COO of a $50 million residential home builder in Knoxville.In 2021, Charlie made a pivotal decision—rather than running businesses himself, he set out to help other business leaders unlock the full potential of their companies. He focuses his work on the five key challenges that hold most businesses back: Communication, Relationships, Alignment, Execution, and Capacity. Now, he works with leaders to tackle these issues head-on, helping them build stronger teams, streamline operations, and drive real, lasting success.
Charlie is a Founding Partner of FliWHEEL Partners and has many Leadership and Employee Development certifications including DiSC, Meyers Briggs, Predictive Index, EOS, and GiANT, which he utilizes as a speaker, trainer, facilitator, and business coach to his clients.
