Meet Our Speaker: Aaron Walters
Aaron Walters, Chairman & CEO of Altar’d State, is a veteran of the retail industry. Throughout his career Walters held executive positions at Wal-Mart, May Department Stores, Goody’s Family Clothing and Walgreen’s, among others. He has thirteen years of proven leadership managing cross-functional teams responsible for multi-billion dollar divisions. Walters’ latest venture, Altar’d State, was born over coffee and conversation between Walters and his business partner, Brian Mason, in April 2009. Built on three pillars of philanthropy and a desire to change the world for the better, Altar’d State has experienced much early success in the retail industry. With its headquarters in Knoxville, TN, Altar’d State now operates almost 20 fashion boutiques in the southeast with plans for continued growth. Away from the office, Walters spends his time in places like Haiti and the DR.
