The Legacy Centre Speaker Series with Dr. Michael McIntyre

"Building a Motivational Culture: How to inspire employees to give their best"
presented by Dr. Michael McIntyre, Director of the Professional MBA Program at The University of Tennessee

Culture eats strategy for breakfast
Improve your culture to improve your business

In business, culture eats strategy for breakfast. It just does not matter how slick your strategy is if your culture is not any good. After all, the value of any strategy is not what is written down in the boardroom. The real value is unleashed by engaging the hearts and minds of motivated employees and the people they serve. That is a function of a healthy culture.

If you took a survey among your employees today, how would they rate life at work? You may be surprised. Many employees are unhappy, unmotivated, and disengaged, and companies are paying for it. Culture can impact your return on investment more than you realize. When this happens, you may be tempted to pull back. What would happen if you lean in - give more? Your employees have to give you their best; you cannot extract it from them. So give your best.

On June 7, leadership expert Dr. Michael McIntyre will facilitate a lively discussion on creating the kind of work environment that brings out the best in your team members. We will discuss general principles and dig even deeper into issues pertaining specifically to family businesses.

If you want to improve the productivity of your business, you must focus on improving your culture. Let's discover together how to build a motivational culture that inspires employees to give their best.
