The Subject:
Monetizing Your Business: Income AND Equity
The financial success of a typical closely held business supports the owner and family as well as the employees, suppliers, customers, community, and charities. With so much at stake, ensuring the survival, growth, and profitable continuity of the business is paramount for any business owner who cares about the perpetuation of his or her dream.
From wonder years to blunder years and beyond, the life cycle of a business is challenged to reinvent its relevance if it will survive for generations to come. That means thriving (not just surviving) through each stage requires an objective look at what you are doing - or failing to do - to build a successful enterprise. This seminar will present some of the essential building blocks and stumbling blocks to the continuation of the financial engine of a business.
Topics to be covered include:
- The development cycle of a business
- Exposed! 5 myths most business owners believe and why they don’t help
- Common shortfalls in closely held businesses and how to fix them
